Mental Health
Advocating for teen mental wellness — because a healthy mind is the foundation for everything we do.
ZenTeen
ZenTeen is a project close to my heart, focused on supporting teen mental health and wellness. In a world where young people face increasing pressures from academics, social media, and societal expectations, ZenTeen aims to provide accessible resources, support, and community for teenagers navigating mental health challenges.
The project combines my understanding of psychology (from my AP coursework and research into the mind-body connection in regenerative healing) with my passion for community service and youth empowerment.

The Teen Mental Health Challenge
According to the CDC, more than 1 in 3 high school students report persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness. Anxiety and depression among teens have risen significantly, making mental health awareness not just important — but urgent.
Mind-Body Connection
My research into regenerative medicine has shown me that healing is deeply connected to mental state. Stress, anxiety, and negative thought patterns can physically slow recovery, while positive mental health can accelerate healing and improve outcomes.
Community & Support
No one should face mental health challenges alone. Through my volunteer work at the Durham Rescue Mission and my community service, I've seen firsthand how connection, empathy, and support systems can transform lives.
Breaking the Stigma
Talking openly about mental health is the first step toward change. By sharing resources, stories, and creating safe spaces for conversation, we can break the stigma and empower young people to seek the help they deserve.
